Proverbs 30:1-3

…I am weary, O God; I am weary and worn out, O God. I am too stupid to be human, and I lack common sense. I have not mastered human wisdom, nor do I know the Holy One.

Reflective Thinking

I think it can be easy to forget our God is also our Father. He is a good, good Father who greatly desires for us, His children, to have a deep and intimate relationship with Him. He wants us to pray with the level of intimacy you read in todays proverb. You see, what I’ve noticed in my prayer time that looks similar to this scripture is that Father will lovingly strengthen, encourage and comfort me throughout it (As long as I shut up long enough to hear Him! Ha!).

Action Idea

Make prayer and intimacy with Father a priority. He already knows everything you’re thinking, feeling and going through but He wants to have you come to Him and deepen that relationship. He’s not going to force you… it’s not in His character to force you to Love Him. Remember, He promises that if we draw close to Him and He will draw close to us.
