Reflective Thinking
This is wonderfully practical wisdom. This one seems simple to understand but if we truly understood it… wouldn’t we do it? Well, I don’t think it’s not quite that simple. For me, I’m still training myself to keep my mouth shut and listen first… and if I do speak, to speak less and listen more. Remember, practice doesn’t make perfect… it makes permanent.
Action Idea
Do you remember the Action Idea about writing new beliefs on your heart iPad from the 9th? If not, check it out here. This is a new belief we are going install in our hearts, “I am slow to speak, quick to listen, and slow to anger.” This is from James 1:19. Fun fact time about James. James was the younger brother of Jesus. I’m looking forward to hearing those childhood stories in Heaven! I can totally see it now. Additional fun fact, James is actually the Hebrew name Jacob, the name of the man who had twelve sons that formed the twelve tribes of Israel.
