Proverbs 10:3

Reflective Thinking
This one is one of those that you first read and you may think, like I did, “I’m not so sure about that… I’ve been hungry lots of times in my life and I fell like there are wicked people in the world that get everything they want.” What I learned since then is that this proverb rings true. You see, being righteous is also being in right standing with God. We need to ask and receive His forgiveness in order for that to happen. What I’ve experienced is that God always meets all my needs… but not all my cravings. I’ve seen time and time again that the wicked may look like they are getting every craving the heart could possibly desire but in the end… it’s nothing but death.
Action Idea
Today is the perfect day to fully embrace Proverbs 3:5-6. Write out the following verse on something so you can keep in front of you for a while. “I trust You Lord with all my heart and I lean not on my own understanding. In all my ways I submit to You and You make my paths straight.” This is what praying the Word of God is like. God bless and keep you.
